This Week's Pairing & Pouring

Come join us for our weekly wine pairing and pouring. This week Arny will be preparing Caprese (kuh·pray·zay) Pasta. This dish tastes just like your favorite salad, only heartier. If you haven't tried a one-pot pasta yet, you should. It's a great timesaving trick. Place all the ingredients in the pot together, add enough water and simmer. The noodles and sauce cook together, which means this dinner is ready in just 15 minutes. Our wines for the evening include: Broadside Cabernet Sauvignon Paso Robles, with aromas of blackberry, plum, cedar and sexy toasted oak, there’s an impression of bittersweet chocolate and black fruits on the palate; Fenn Valley Traminette, a semi-dry white wine with a muscat-spice character bursting with the fresh flavors of ripe apples and pears mingled with the sweetness of violets and apple blossoms; and new this week, La Piu Belle Rosé, a wine that transcends it’s beautiful bottle by capturing the energy of the vines, the power of grapes and the elegance of a rosé blend composed of Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Our pairing runs from 5-8 p.m.
