August has flown by. Can you believe it? We are in summer’s last little home stretch! Labor Day is next week. Of course this means pumpkin everything on the horizon. But it also means that gardens and farmer’s markets are chock full of all the delicious end of summer veggies - zucchini, corn, bell peppers, tomatoes. Yum! We are lucky. We live in an area surrounded by farmland and vegetable stands as well as our local farmer’s market. There is nothing like a vegetable straight from the source. So tonight we’re going to take advantage of the abundance with a summer harvest pasta, a delicious way to use all this goodness and get your pasta fix. It's end of summer goodness in pasta form. Totally perfect. And pretty much the prettiest pasta ever. Our wines for the evening include Grand Courtage Rose, Straight Shooter Pinot Noir, and EOS Pinot Grigio. We’ll be having a special guest pourer tonight, so please come and make her feel welcome. Scatola di Pasta will be open and our outdoor seating will be perfect for this summer night.
