This week Arny will be preparing pasta with Carfagna’s Organic Sauce – their Original Recipe Pasta Sauce made with 100% organic ingredients for the health conscious, clean eaters and the curious. There will be meat available for those not participating in the Lenten season. Our Pairing and Pouring will include Black Star Farms Arcturos Dry Riesling, with flavors of peach, honey dew melon and ripe apple and nuances of honeysuckle and pear on the nose, this wine truly expresses its vintage; Spanish wine Marques de Caceres Verdejo, revealing aromas of white fruits with delicate citrus notes, intense and powerful on the palate, with a balance of freshness and long-lasting finish; and Castello del Poggio Smooth Red, a full-bodied and fruity Italian wine with notes of apricot and peach with mineral and velvety tannins.
