At this week’s wine pairing and pouring we will be pouring Cotes-du-Rhone Blanc, Acrobat Pinot Noir, and Warner Peach & Honey.
Wine Advocate states that the Cotes-du-Rhone Blanc from M. Chapoutier Belleruche is gloriously ripe with restrained notes of apricot, peach and mineral that jump from the glass of this deliciously fruity, clean, medium-bodied wine. It bursts at the seams with personality and character and is very food-friendly. It has very nice aromas of tree fruits and light citrus, clean and crisp with a nice acidity and an excellent finish.
Acrobat is artfully crafted in the gorgeous hills and valleys of western Oregon, with an eye on sustainable winemaking practices. The Acrobat Pinot Noir possesses flavor notes of raspberry, red currant, black cherry, and baking spice. Bright acidity and elegant, refined tannins are integrated on the palate delivering a lovely medium-bodied Pinot Noir that will pair well with a variety of cuisine.
Nestled along the Lake Michigan shore appellation and founded in 1928, Warner Vineyards is one of Michigan’s oldest wineries. Their Peach and Honey wine is a superb blend of peaches, honey, apricots, cinnamon and sweet white wine.
